About the Role
At Taskify, we believe the foundation of AI safety is high-quality human data. AI models require human evaluators to apply structured judgment in complex and nuanced outputs. As an AI Safety – Trust & Safety Specialist, you will join a flexible pod of safety specialists from both technical and non-technical backgrounds, tasked with annotating and evaluating AI behaviors to ensure systems remain safe.
Key Responsibilities
- Annotate AI outputs based on safety criteria including bias, misinformation, and unsafe reasoning.
- Apply harm taxonomies and guidelines consistently, even in ambiguous cases.
- Document your reasoning to help refine guidelines and practices.
- Collaborate with teams to power AI safety research, model improvements, and risk audits.
Who You Are
You have experience in trust & safety, governance, or policy-to-product frameworks and are familiar with harm taxonomies, safety-by-design principles, or regulatory frameworks such as the EU AI Act or NIST AI RMF. You excel in translating abstract policies into concrete evaluation criteria and are motivated to reduce user harm while ensuring systems are safe, ethical, and compliant.

- Consistently produce accurate, high-quality annotations.
- Identify risks that automated tools may overlook.
- Provide feedback that improves guidelines and taxonomies.
- Directly strengthen AI model safety and compliance with your contributions.
