The AI Safety – Trust & Safety Specialist role is designed for individuals who can make careful, consistent decisions in ambiguous situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Annotate AI outputs against safety criteria like bias, misinformation, and unsafe reasoning.
- Apply harm taxonomies and guidelines consistently, even in ambiguous cases.
- Document reasoning to help refine guidelines and taxonomies.
- Collaborate with teams to provide data that strengthens AI model safety and compliance.
Who You Are
You have experience in trust & safety, governance, or policy-to-product frameworks. You are familiar with harm taxonomies, safety-by-design principles, or regulatory frameworks such as the EU AI Act or NIST AI RMF. You excel at translating abstract policies into concrete evaluation criteria and are motivated by reducing user harm while ensuring systems are safe, ethical, and compliant.
