About the Role: Video Editor
Taskify AI is seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our team as a Remote Contract Post-Production Specialist. This role is perfect for individuals who can create professional video content from start to finish and meticulously document their entire editing workflows.
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for showcasing your complete post-production process, from handling raw footage through to final delivery, ensuring every project meets high professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Video Editing: Execute complete video projects using industry-standard editing software, covering everything from raw footage import to final export and delivery.
- Workflow Documentation: Clearly articulate editing decisions, sequencing choices, and problem-solving techniques through comprehensive written and verbal explanations.
- Asset Organization: Efficiently organize, label, and manage all raw footage, audio tracks, graphics, and exported files to facilitate smooth team handoff and archiving.
- Narrative & Pacing: Apply expert timing to structure compelling video stories, ensuring optimal visual flow, seamless transitions, and strong audience engagement.
- Quality Refinement: Consistently refine rough cuts, optimize transitions, perform color grading, and resolve technical and creative challenges to deliver professional-grade results.
Required Skills
- Professional video editing experience with a proven track record of complete project delivery.
- Proficiency with industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or similar tools.
- Strong narrative timing and visual storytelling capabilities.
