Taskify AI is seeking an exceptional Open Source Applied Engineer with deep expertise in Python, Java, C, JavaScript, or TypeScript. This remote role involves collaborating on high-impact, globally distributed engineering projects, perfect for engineers with strong programming fundamentals and an active track record of meaningful contributions to established open-source repositories. You will help design and evaluate coding systems across multiple languages, contributing to research and engineering improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop structured evaluation frameworks for coding tasks across JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, and C.
- Create comprehensive test cases to assess system performance across varied engineering scenarios.
- Analyze system behavior against real-world use cases to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Document and communicate findings clearly to support ongoing system optimization.
- Contribute insights into performance, architecture, and code quality best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated open-source contributions within the past 12 months (GitHub or equivalent platforms).
- Strong expertise in at least one of the following: Python, Java, C, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
