About the Role of Engineering Experts at Taskify AI

Taskify AI is seeking Engineering Experts for one of their clients, collaborating with a leading AI research lab. This project focuses on advancing engineering problem-solving in artificial intelligence. As an Engineering Expert, you will be responsible for creating rigorous, multi-step engineering problems and meticulously evaluating AI-generated solutions for their technical accuracy and completeness. This is a crucial role in pushing the boundaries of AI's capabilities in complex engineering domains.

This position is offered as an hourly contract for independent contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Design original engineering problems that require multi-domain integration, analytical reasoning, and real-world system modeling.
• Evaluate AI-generated solutions comprehensively for correctness, underlying assumptions, and computational accuracy.
• Document complete, clear solutions and derivations using precise LaTeX formatting.
• Maintain the highest standards of technical precision, rigor, and consistency throughout all work.

Required Skills & Experience

• Advanced knowledge in mechanical, electrical, civil, aerospace, chemical engineering, or a closely related engineering field.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, grading, or evaluating analytical or design-focused problems, whether from academic projects, professional roles, or research initiatives.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong documentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in LaTeX formatting, essential for preparing technical documents.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in mentorship or active participation in engineering design challenges, modeling competitions, or competitive problem-solving events is advantageous, though not strictly required.
