Role: Audio Specialist
As an Audio Specialist, you will be responsible for creating professional audio tracks and meticulously documenting complete production workflows. This role requires you to showcase your full mixing process, from initial layering through final mastering, for various audio projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Track Audio Production: Build complete audio projects using industry-standard Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) from initial sound layering through final mix and mastering delivery.
- Workflow Documentation: Clearly articulate creative decisions, experimentation techniques, and problem-solving through comprehensive written and verbal process explanations.
- Sound Layering & Refinement: Layer multiple audio elements, applying dynamic processing, EQ, compression, and various effects to achieve professional-grade results.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all final mixes consistently meet industry standards for clarity, balance, dynamics, and artistic integrity across diverse playback systems.
- Asset Organization: Efficiently organize, label, and export audio stems, sessions, and final masters to facilitate seamless team handoff and robust archiving.
Required Skills
- Professional audio production and mixing experience.
- Proficiency with leading DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic, Reaper, Ableton, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding and practical application of audio processing techniques including EQ, compression, reverb, and automation.
- Demonstrated experience across the complete project workflow, from tracking to mastering.
- Excellent written communication skills for explaining intricate production choices.
- Capability for multi-genre production, encompassing music, podcasts, and sound design.
