FP&A Analyst

Overview

The FP&A Analyst at Tangent Technologies, LLC is responsible for supporting strategic planning and operational initiatives across the organization. Reporting directly to the Director of FP&A, the Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in business operations and support decision-making that aligns with company goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Operational Analysis: Evaluate current processes to identify efficiency improvements and cost savings.
• Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics tools to report on productivity, profitability, and performance indicators.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Accounting, Sales, and Operations to support business initiatives.
• Project Management: Assist in executing strategic projects, tracking milestones, and allocating resources.
• Market Research: Conduct industry research to monitor trends and competitor activities.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices and process automation opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, operations, or strategy, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI) and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills; capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.
• Project management experience; Lean or Six Sigma principles are a plus.
