Role and Responsibilities
The Business Analyst will join the Product Management team to bridge customer needs, business objectives, and engineering execution. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with Product Managers to understand vision and customer needs.
- Translate business objectives and user stories into technical requirements.
- Create documentation including process flows, data models, and system diagrams.
- Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
- Act as the subject matter expert throughout development cycles.
- Partner with QA and engineering teams ensuring testable and measurable requirements.
- Support backlog refinement, prioritization, and sprint planning.
- Monitor product performance post-launch to drive improvements.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and 1–3 years in a similar role are required. Skills in programming (Python, Javascript, or Go), proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or Miro, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and excellent communication are essential.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with product management teams in a SaaS environment, knowledge of APIs, data integrations, SQL, data warehouse concepts, and HR technology systems are highly valued.
