About the Role
PwC is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will focus on designing and implementing robust, secure IT systems that support business operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of networks, servers, and data centers to optimize performance and minimize downtime. You will also be involved in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure and services to enable seamless operations and high availability for clients, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing industry-leading practices for cloud-based systems.
Responsibilities
- Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support.
- Build tools to reduce the occurrence of errors and improve customer experience.
- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
- Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.
- Develop scripts to automate visualization.
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
Mandatory Skill Sets
- Strong in CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Azure.
- Experience with Terraform.
Preferred Skill Sets
- Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Experience in civil engineering or customer experience.
- Experience in developing/engineering applications for a large company.
Qualifications
- Required: BE/B.Tech/MBA degrees.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Business Administration.
