What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Serve as lead product counsel throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch
- Provide high-quality legal advice on product design, UX, and go-to-market strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify regulatory considerations impacting product development
- Manage legal aspects of in-product disclosures, terms, and customer messaging
- Develop and deliver training on legal concepts to product managers and other stakeholders
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school and active membership in at least one state bar
- Minimum of 15 years of legal experience, with at least 7 years in-house at a technology or e-commerce company
- Experience as lead product counsel or senior advisor on digital product design and strategy
- Deep expertise in consumer protection and data privacy laws
- Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads while prioritizing impactful deliverables
