What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a Technical Writer at Talentify.io, you will:

  • Create a variety of technical documents including user guides, service manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Translate complex technical information into easily understandable content for non-technical audiences.
  • Conduct interviews with users and technical staff to gather documentation information.
  • Organize ideas and concepts to produce concise and effective documentation.
  • Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

What Is Required (Qualifications)

Applicants must have a High School Diploma and a minimum of 4 years of technical writing experience. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required along with a strong command of English in both oral and written forms. Proficiency in using authoring tools and creating workflows using Lucidchart is expected.

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Candidates with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in English, communications, journalism, technical writing, or a related field are preferred. Proficiency in PHP and .NET and experience as a subject matter expert with Enterprise Applications and Technical Architecture will be an advantage. The ability to write for a highly technical audience using industry-specific terms and strong organizational skills are key.
