About the Technical Support Specialist Role

As a Technical Support Specialist at Talentify.io, you will take charge of your career development and become an expert in providing world-class customer service. You will complete a 6-week paid training program that will prepare you for handling customer calls, technical support inquiries, outbound calls, and providing value added services.

Who We Are Looking For

We seek individuals with a passion for technology and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You should be comfortable troubleshooting advanced issues, deescalating challenging situations, and confident in initiating promotional conversations. Prior technical exposure, interest in technology, and excellent communication skills are key.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Complete three training stages leading to Tier 3 responsibilities.
  • Field customer calls and troubleshoot advanced equipment issues.
  • Accurately document and update records in information systems.
  • Deescalate complex issues and generate customer referrals.

Training and Compensation

The role begins with mandatory paid training. The starting rate is $17.00/hr, with progression to Tier 2 at 90 days ($17.75/hr) and Tier 3 at 180 days ($18.75/hr), with the potential to earn up to $20.25/hr within the first year.

Minimum Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must obtain a Burglar Alarm License through the Division of Occupations and Professional Licensing with the State of Utah.
  • Must be able to type at least 40 wpm.
  • Work-from-home setup with a quiet, private space, a Windows 10 (or higher) computer, required hardware, and a wired internet connection.
