About the Role

The Supervisor, Hospital Billing is responsible for overseeing the Hospital Billing Department activities related to claims, follow-up, credits, variances, and denials for hospital based services at Children’s Wisconsin. This role involves staffing plans, schedules, productivity, quality assurance, performance management, and coaching and development of staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily billing operations and monitor PPL calendars.
  • Develop and assess productivity targets and quality markers.
  • Provide performance feedback, conduct reviews and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate on process improvements and handle inquiries from parents, physicians, and payers.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
