Role Overview

As an Analyst within the Fraud & Security Practice at Javelin, you will join a team of accomplished analysts, consultants, and researchers who identify, monitor and analyze trends in fraud. You will produce research, develop insights, and provide advice to financial institutions, payments service providers, fintech providers, government agencies and other financial services entities.

This is a 100% Remote position which requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, non-routine environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients using independent survey data and industry expertise.
• Outline and draft research reports, webinars, and podcasts.
• Collaborate with the Fraud and Security team to design surveys and develop reports.
• Analyze survey data, trends, and consumer usage patterns for actionable insights.
• Conduct phone interviews with vendors and financial services executives.
• Gather secondary research on fraud technologies, vendors, and startups.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial services with fraud systems knowledge.
• Strong communication (oral and written) and data comfort.
• Analytical thinking with proven report writing skills.
• Superior attention to detail and research integrity.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree and U.S. work authorization.
• Independent work experience; consult/analyst background preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SPSS.
• Strong quantitative/qualitative research skills.
• Experience in creating charts from data analysis.

Compensation, Benefits, And Culture

• Base Salary: $80,000 - $90,000.
