What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Operate a simulated radar display and voice communication system.
• Simulate pilot actions and communications based on student commands.
• Translate displayed information into proper air traffic control terminology.
• Respond to students using correct phraseology via voice system.
• Complete required certifications, including classroom and lab testing on airspace and procedures.

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• US Citizenship with eligibility for Public Trust clearance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to interpret diagrams and manuals.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in ATC Tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation labs.
• Familiarity with FAAO JO 7110.65 regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
• Knowledge of current technological tools (tablets, notebooks, applications).
• Experience with pilot/controller communications or phraseology.
