What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
As the Lead Analyst, Operational Analytics, you will:
- Lead the data governance team in developing and enforcing data governance policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with data stewards, data architects, and business units to align governance goals with priorities.
- Oversee data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage initiatives.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, defining metrics and implementing monitoring processes.
- Facilitate data governance councils to promote awareness and compliance across data domains.
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in data governance or related roles. Strong proficiency in SQL, a solid understanding of data warehouse structures, data modeling concepts, and ETL processes, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Preferred candidates will have familiarity with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Alation, experience with reporting tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau, or Power BI, and strong Excel skills including pivot table development and data structuring.
