What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Answer and triage incoming patient calls, managing approximately 50% of the role
- Manage in-basket messages and provider requests, also representing about 50% of the role
- Handle document management, including FMLA paperwork and forms requiring provider signatures
- Utilize electronic systems such as EPIC and other internal platforms for daily tasks and workflows
- Participate in initial onsite training to prepare for remote work
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA or CCMA) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care setting preferred
- EPIC experience is required
- Reliable high-speed internet connection; no Wi-Fi permitted during production work
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience handling immunization-related inquiries is a plus
- Familiarity with document management platforms and call handling software
