What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Pre-register and schedule patient appointments with appropriate providers.
  • Direct calls to the appropriate area for services not provided in Patient Access Scheduling.
  • Receive requests for information and ensure timely distribution of materials.
  • Schedule, admit, and pre-authorize insurance for all patients in the assigned area.
  • Act as the first point of contact, facilitating empathetic solutions for patients navigating the healthcare system.

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a direct customer-facing sales or service setting.

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Associate of Arts degree or completion of a medical terminology program.
  • 2 years of experience in a medical setting.
