What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Assist Primary Care Physicians and Nurse Practitioners in delivering primary health care and patient management
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including minor procedures
  • Coordinate daily travel itineraries and transport clinicians to scheduled appointments
  • Document patient care accurately and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Perform phlebotomy, EKG, and other procedures as directed by clinicians

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT, or related program, or 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist
  • Current CPR certification that meets company guidelines
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
