What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Assist Primary Care Physicians and Nurse Practitioners in delivering primary health care and patient management
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including minor procedures
- Coordinate daily travel itineraries and transport clinicians to scheduled appointments
- Document patient care accurately and maintain patient confidentiality
- Perform phlebotomy, EKG, and other procedures as directed by clinicians
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT, or related program, or 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist
- Current CPR certification that meets company guidelines
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
