About the M&E Manager Kiribati Program Role

This part-time (30-40%) remote role offers flexibility and an opportunity to influence employment and development in Kiribati. The selected candidate will manage the Threshold Program's monitoring and evaluation (M&E) initiatives under the Millennium Challenge Corporation framework.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the Threshold Program’s M&E Plan across core activities.
  • Periodically update the M&E Plan per MCC policies.
  • Collaborate with implementing partners on monitoring plans and best practices.
  • Aggregate quarterly monitoring data for centralized MCC reporting.
  • Prepare quarterly reports summarizing data, lessons, and progress.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social science or related; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years experience with program monitoring data quality reviews.
  • At least 3 years developing data collection instruments.
  • Over 8 years experience building relationships with partners and government.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data analysis software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with statistical software (Stata, SPSS, SAS, R) and thematic coding.
  • Prior experience in Kiribati or other Pacific Islands.
  • Familiarity with Millennium Challenge Corporation projects.
  • Experience with scholarship or employment promotion programs.
