Job Responsibilities:
- Perform collection follow-up for insurance and Medicare claims
- Make collection calls to insurance companies and patients
- Review remittance advices for rejection and payment accuracy
- Verify charge ticket accuracy to maximize reimbursements
- Respond to inquiries from insurance companies and customers
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years in bookkeeping, accounting, or medical collections
- Ability to handle confidential data and communicate effectively
- Proficiency in collections strategies and medical terminology
Preferred:
- Skills in computer literacy and office equipment
- Experience using telephone systems effectively
