What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As the first point of contact for members and providers, you will:

  • Handle 30-40 calls per day along with chats, texts, and emails.
  • Ensure accurate and timely resolution of inquiries regarding claims, coverage, and benefits.
  • Educate customers on their healthcare plans and promote digital tools use.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and follow through on issues until resolved.
  • Safeguard privacy by adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality standards.

What Is Required (Qualifications)

Candidates should have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare contact center.
  • 3+ years of overall customer service experience.
  • Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to navigate multiple customer service channels (calls, chat, text, email).
  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree or evidence of recent progress towards a degree.
