Consultant, Cloud Incident Response

About the Role

The Consultant, Cloud Incident Response will serve as part of the technical team on incident response engagements in the cybersecurity industry. This role involves developing and implementing new methods to hunt for bad actors across data sets and conducting intrusion investigations with guidance from project leadership and external counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in incident response investigations and cloud incident response.
• Perform host and network forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Conduct computer forensic analysis using specialized forensic tools.
• Analyze network protocols along with network analysis using industry tools.
• Produce high-quality written and verbal reports, and deliver presentations.

Qualifications

• Experience in incident response investigations and targeted threat analysis.
• Background in computer forensic analysis.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and analysis tools.
• Ability to conduct cloud incident response, particularly with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Capable of completing technical tasks with limited supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in reverse engineering and malware analysis.
• Desire to grow both technical and soft skills.
• Strong communication skills for conveying findings to clients and internal teams.
