About the Role at TalentCo's Client

TalentCo is excited to partner with a well-established PE-backed tech company currently seeking a high-calibre AI Product Manager for their UK HQ, located just north of London. This pivotal role involves building a groundbreaking new conversational AI platform from the ground up.

Work Arrangement

This position offers a predominantly home-based work model, requiring only one day per week in the office. There is significant flexibility provided to suit individual circumstances.

The Platform Vision

The client is dedicated to developing a low-code, multi-tenant platform. This innovative solution will empower large enterprises to effortlessly design, build, and deploy sophisticated AI agents capable of handling both straightforward single-step LLM tasks and intricate multi-step agentic workflows.

Key Responsibilities of the AI Product Manager:

  • Define and own the comprehensive vision, strategy, and roadmap for the client's strategic AI initiatives.
  • Operate as the sole Product Manager, taking full ownership of the build of a new conversational AI platform from its inception.
  • Lead product discovery, scope definition, and backlog ownership, collaborating closely with Engineering, AI Technical Leads, Architecture, Compliance, and Delivery teams to ensure the creation of a secure, production-ready AI platform.
  • Translate complex commercial objectives and diverse enterprise customer needs into validated product increments that consistently deliver measurable value, build trust, and are designed to scale globally.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong experience as a Product Manager overseeing complex, enterprise-grade software products, ideally within AI-enabled or regulated technology environments. Significant bonus points for any Conversational AI product experience.
  • A deep understanding of AI-powered platforms, including LLMs, RAG architectures, guardrails, and compliance considerations, or a strong desire and capability to build secure AI products at scale.
  • Confidence in defining clear product vision, articulating compelling value propositions, and aligning senior stakeholders across both technical and commercial functions.
  • Proven strong commercial acumen, awareness of governance principles, and the ability to effectively translate strategic objectives into measurable, ROI-driven product outcomes.

What They Offer:

  • A competitive salary ranging between £70,000 and £100,000.
  • A comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being.
  • A flexible hybrid work model, with just one day a week in the office and the rest working from home, supported by a work-from-anywhere policy.
