What to Expect from the Traineeship Hypotheken

The Traineeship Hypotheken comprises several core components:

  • You will work with various major banking clients, including ABN AMRO, Rabobank, ASN Bank, ING, and Nationale-Nederlanden.
  • Engage in continuous professional and skill-based training, such as Wft certifications, a Masterclass Hypotheekindustrie, and guidance on managing your own development.

 

Assignments within the Traineeship Hypotheken

As a trainee, you will start as a mortgage acceptor. In this role, you will assess mortgage applications, analyze risks, and determine the conditions under which a mortgage can be granted. You can advance to become a business income acceptor, handling complex applications from entrepreneurs and developing customized solutions. Furthermore, you can specialize as a mortgage advisor, guiding clients through the entire mortgage process and collaborating with lenders, real estate agents, and notaries.

By working on real client files, you will gain insight into diverse financial situations, learn to navigate laws and regulations, and quickly build the knowledge necessary for further growth in the industry.

 

Growth through Education, Experience, and Coaching

During the Talent phase, you will get acquainted with various aspects of the mortgage profession. You will obtain your Wft certifications and attend training sessions like the Masterclass Hypotheekindustrie. Simultaneously, you will develop skills in Agile working, Lean Six Sigma, and professional communication techniques. Under the guidance of your People Manager, you will enhance both your professional and personal competencies.

In the Pro phase, you will assume greater responsibility. You will work on more complex client files, provide independent advice, and build strong client relationships. You will grow in your role and develop expertise that can lead to positions such as mortgage specialist, mortgage advisor, or business income acceptor. The mortgage industry offers a future-proof career with ample opportunities for development, both in breadth and depth of the field.

 

Your Profile

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Hold an HBO or WO degree, or are in the final phase of their study. If you have an MBO 4 or Associate degree, you are also welcome to apply after successfully completing a capacity test (please refer to the corresponding vacancy for specific employment conditions).
  • Are available for 32-40 hours per week.
  • Are starters in the job market, focused on both professional and personal development.
  • Are communicatively skilled, service-oriented, and assertive.
  • Are flexible and enthusiastic about detachment. You are willing to travel to the Randstad, despite the possibility of hybrid work.
