What to Expect

The Customer Due Diligence traineeship includes several core components:

  • Begin your journey with the best onboarding program in the Netherlands, with monthly start dates available. Apply now to start at Talent&Pro on upcoming dates like April 17th, May 1st, and May 15th.
  • Gain extensive relevant work experience rapidly at reputable organizations within and outside financial services as a Fraud Specialist, CDD Analyst, or Compliance Officer.
  • Engage in continuous skill training, professional education such as Wft certifications, and specialized courses on combating money laundering.

Working with the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Act (Wwft)

In this traineeship, you will work at leading organizations like ASN Bank, ING, or ABN AMRO. You will stay alert to changes in financial sector regulations and legislation. You will delve into case files, assess the integrity of both new and existing clients, and conduct detailed checks on business and private customer data. You will also have the opportunity to apply your talents at renowned companies such as KPMG, Alfam, and Deloitte.

Your Role as a CDD Analyst

As a trainee, you will be the expert investigating client risks to prevent unnecessary costs and reputational damage for banks. You will advise on the safety of doing business with a client and document your findings in a detailed report. You have a passion for uncovering loose ends and connecting the dots, enabling banks to focus on their core business: facilitating legal financial transactions.

The first year is dedicated to gaining experience in the financial sector, for example, through a general assignment or as a Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Analyst. During this period, you will sharpen your communication and result-oriented skills. In both roles, you will learn to quickly adapt to different parties and build a strong foundation in CDD research.

Training and Education in the CDD Traineeship

In the Talent Phase, you will develop a broad foundation in CDD, AML, and compliance. You will obtain your Wft Basis and Wwft certificates, attend training sessions on risk analysis, data processing, and interviewing techniques, and receive personal guidance from a People Manager. This phase equips you with the knowledge and skills to work independently within CDD teams.

In the Professional Phase, you will handle more complex cases. You will work with high-risk client relationships, make independent decisions, and contribute to process optimization and innovation in compliance. Upon completion of the Professional Phase, you can advance to roles such as Senior CDD Analyst, AML Specialist, or Compliance Officer.
