Technical Business Analyst
We're seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a large-scale platform integration program with a leading financial services company in Brisbane.
This is a permanent role with a leading financial services company, offering a highly competitive salary package.
About The Role
You'll work across complex system integrations, customer-facing platforms and core banking services – translating business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements that enable safe, scalable delivery. This role sits alongside senior engineers and quality leaders and plays a critical part in shaping how APIs and digital platforms are designed, built and delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Work across the full delivery lifecycle in an agile environment.
- Partner closely with engineers, API teams and test leads on integration initiatives.
- Produce clear technical specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate workshops, elaboration sessions and stakeholder forums.
- Support backlog prioritisation with product owners based on value and risk.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis practices.
About You
- 5 + years’ experience as a Technical or Business Analyst in complex environments.
- Strong experience working on platform, integration or API-driven solutions.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery practices.
- Experience delivering COTS and digital technology solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Banking or financial services experience.
- Experience working on customer-facing digital journeys.
- Exposure to large-scale transformation or integration programs.
