About the role
Cybersecurity IT Auditor - Contract Role
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity IT Auditor for a project-based contract role with a regional banking client, running through August 31st.
Responsibilities
- Support IT audit engagements by evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of cybersecurity and ITGC controls.
- Perform control testing across key areas such as access management, change management, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand processes, risks, and control environments.
- Document workpapers and contribute to the development of audit findings and final reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CISA, CIA, CISSP, CPA, etc.) is a plus.
- 5+ years of relevant Cybersecurity IT Audit experience.
- Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
