About the Role: SEO Manager

Summit Equity Investments, a company focused on acquiring and operating multifamily real estate assets across the U.S., is actively investing in robust digital infrastructure to boost qualified traffic, increase leads, and improve occupancy within their extensive portfolio. They are seeking an SEO Manager to serve as the strategic authority, overseeing external agencies, defining SEO direction, and translating performance data into actionable business decisions. This is an in-house, client-side SEO ownership role, distinct from an agency position.

What You'll Own:

  • SEO strategy across a diverse portfolio of multifamily properties.
  • Auditing and evaluation of multiple external SEO agencies.
  • Identification of gaps across local, technical, content, and conversion SEO.
  • Clear recommendations on what aspects of SEO to centralize, change, or rebuild.
  • In-depth analysis of traffic, rankings, leads, and attribution.
  • Development and implementation of standardized SEO frameworks across applicable properties.
  • Ensuring strong alignment between SEO strategy and overarching leasing goals.
  • Direct reporting to non-marketing leadership with clear, concise insights.

You'll thrive if you:

  • Possess 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, encompassing both technical and local SEO.
  • Have a proven track record of overseeing or managing external SEO agencies.
  • Are highly proficient with GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar advanced SEO tools.
  • Deeply understand multi-location or multi-property SEO challenges and strategies.
  • Can effectively separate meaningful signals from noise in performance data.
  • Are confident in challenging assumptions and vendor recommendations when necessary.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with non-marketing stakeholders.
  • Operate comfortably as the in-house SEO authority, providing expert guidance.
