We are seeking a Japanese Voice Over Artist to participate in a short-term project focused on improving advanced AI audio models. In this fully remote role, you will record spoken audio that helps train AI systems to better understand and generate natural Japanese speech.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience in voice acting or other audio-based fields such as music, broadcasting, podcasting, streaming, or content creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Record high-quality Japanese voice samples following provided scripts and guidelines.
• Deliver speech in a clear, natural tone similar to a professional customer service style.
• Maintain consistent pacing, pronunciation, and vocal clarity.
• Follow transcripts precisely or adjust them slightly to reflect natural speaking patterns when needed.
• Review and edit recordings to ensure they meet quality and technical standards before submission.

Project Details

• Project Duration: Approximately 1–2 weeks from start date.
• Time Commitment: 2–10 hours per week.
• Payment: Up to $200 USD per finished hour of submitted audio.
• Project Start Date: March 12, 2026 (PST).
• Kickoff: Participants must attend a project kickoff call.

Requirements

• Must be born and raised in Japan.
• Proficient in English for project communication.
• Ability to deliver recordings with clear enunciation and consistent pacing.
• Strong attention to detail when following scripts and punctuation.

Technical Requirements

• Professional home recording setup including:
• Professional-grade microphone.
• Audio interface.
• Soundproof or treated recording environment.
• Pop filter.
• Audio editing software for post-production.

Preferred Background

Experience in professional voice acting or areas such as:

Contract & Engagement Details

• Independent contractor engagement.
• Fully remote with flexible scheduling.
• Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise based on completed work.
