Talent Bridge is seeking highly experienced software professionals with profound expertise in operating systems to join a critical data collection initiative. This collaboration with leading AI research labs aims to enhance how AI systems comprehend complex operating system interfaces and multi-step professional tasks. As a Software Expert Operating Systems, you will play a direct role in creating high-fidelity datasets essential for training the next generation of AI models.

Key Responsibilities

• Record detailed screen sessions, demonstrating operating system workflows with clear verbal narration for each step.
• Accurately annotate screenshots by drawing bounding boxes around relevant UI elements.
• Configure specific UI states according to provided staging instructions before initiating recordings.
• Utilize custom capture tools to ensure consistent and accurate workflow recordings.
• Strictly adhere to all task guidelines to maintain data quality and ensure downstream usability for AI research.
• Deliver high-quality outputs suitable for large-scale AI research and advanced model training.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

• Strong hands-on experience with one or more major operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• A proven ability to follow precise instructions and consistently meet stringent quality standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong capability for independent work.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Required access to a physical Mac device and the ability to create a fresh macOS user profile when necessary.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in data collection, annotation, or quality assurance.
• Comfort and experience documenting or recording technical workflows.
• Adeptness at working with new tools and staged environments.

• This is a fully remote, asynchronous independent contractor role.

• Project duration is variable, with potential for extension based on performance and project requirements.
• Work encompasses screen recording, UI annotation, and comprehensive workflow documentation.

Compensation & Contract Terms

• Hourly compensation will be provided, aligned with task scope and your expertise.
• Payments are issued weekly via Stripe or Wise.
• The engagement is strictly as an independent contractor; no employee benefits are provided.
• Applicants will not have access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Please note: H1-B and STEM OPT candidates cannot be supported at this time.
