Senior Network Engineer at Talent Bridge
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Network Deployment and Operations Engineer with over 10 years of experience in IP or Optical networking. This critical role involves providing technical leadership and operational oversight for large-scale network infrastructure deployments, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and adhere to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will possess deep networking expertise combined with robust program management capabilities and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Deployment & Operations: Provide technical and operational oversight for IP or Optical network deployments. Ensure infrastructure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality. Develop and manage deployment schedules, scope, and resource allocation.
- Technical Leadership: Facilitate technical discussions across engineering, operations, and data center teams. Identify risks, propose solutions, and drive innovation in deployment processes. Ensure adherence to networking standards, best practices, and SLAs.
- Performance & KPI Management: Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including deployment speed, quality, efficiency, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence. Analyze performance data to improve processes and decision-making. Provide data-driven insights to senior leadership.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with vendors and external partners. Ensure contractual obligations and quality standards are met. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across network engineering, data center engineering, and operations.
- Reporting & Communication: Maintain structured reporting for senior leadership. Communicate program status, risks, mitigation strategies, and opportunities effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IP or Optical network deployment.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale network infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical expertise in IP networking protocols, architectures, and technologies.
- Experience with program management, operations, and process improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
