About the Research Assistant Role at Talent Bridge

We are actively seeking highly skilled Generalists to join Talent Bridge as a Research Assistant. This 100% remote role is crucial for an accelerated initiative focused on enhancing AI systems that power therapeutic-style conversations. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate, compare, and refine AI-generated responses, ensuring they meet rigorous standards for empathy, emotional insight, communication clarity, and appropriateness in supportive dialogue settings.

Your direct contributions will be instrumental in helping our research teams develop safe, supportive, and human-aligned AI behaviors, particularly within mental health-oriented conversational environments. This project requires individuals who can begin immediately following a mandatory onboarding session, bringing their expertise to a rapidly evolving and impactful field.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and compare pairs of AI-generated responses based on specific criteria.
• Evaluate responses for empathy, tone, emotional awareness, and overall communication quality.
• Identify strengths, weaknesses, and any gaps in alignment with project standards.
• Produce improved rewrites for responses that do not meet the required quality benchmarks.
• Provide structured, clear, and comprehensive written feedback.
• Consistently and accurately follow detailed evaluation guidelines throughout the project.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree is the minimum educational requirement for this position.
• Demonstrated strong written communication and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to effectively assess tone, emotional nuance, and supportive communication styles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and unwavering consistency in applying evaluation frameworks.
• Availability to begin work immediately following the onboarding process.

Ideal Background

• Prior experience in psychology, counseling, communications, behavioral sciences, or related academic fields.
• Previous involvement in evaluating AI content, writing, editing, or quality assurance roles.
• Familiarity with communication standards, particularly those relevant to mental health contexts.

Contract & Payment Details

• This is an independent contractor engagement.
• The role is fully remote with a flexible schedule, allowing for global participation.
• Payments are processed weekly via Stripe or Wise.
• Project duration is flexible and may vary based on individual performance and ongoing business requirements.
• No access to confidential or proprietary employer information is required for this role.
