Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Sonographer to join a remote healthcare team. In this role, you will produce and interpret diagnostic ultrasound images, collaborate with physicians, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout examinations. This position allows you to deliver high-quality imaging services from a fully remote setup while maintaining professional clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ultrasound procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy.
  • Operate ultrasound and diagnostic imaging equipment to capture clear images of organs, tissues, blood flow, and other structures.
  • Adjust equipment settings and patient positioning for optimal imaging quality and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Provide detailed technical summaries and sonogram reports to physicians for evaluation.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, documentation, and imaging files.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals with empathy and professionalism.
  • Stay up-to-date on advancements in ultrasound technology and clinical best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Sonographer (ARDMS, ARRT(S), or equivalent).
  • Proven experience operating ultrasound and imaging equipment in clinical or remote environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing patient care and documentation accuracy.
  • In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to sonography.
  • Ability to interpret diagnostic data and support clinical decision-making.
  • Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and troubleshooting imaging equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering remote or tele-sonography services.
  • Advanced certifications or additional specialties (vascular, cardiac, OB/GYN, etc.).
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary, collaborative healthcare teams.
