Job Description
Mathematics Expert at Talent Bridge
One of our leading AI research clients is seeking highly analytical Mathematics experts to contribute to advanced large language model (LLM) training and evaluation initiatives. In this role, you will design rigorous mathematical problems to test and improve AI systems’ reasoning capabilities across undergraduate to PhD-level Mathematics topics. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of Mathematics, analytical reasoning, and next-generation AI systems.
What You’ll Do
- Design and solve challenging mathematics problems to test AI reasoning limits
- Develop clear, step-by-step, logically rigorous solutions
- Identify model weaknesses in areas such as abstraction, multi-step reasoning, and symbolic manipulation
- Collaborate with researchers to define new AI evaluation benchmarks
- Provide detailed annotations and structured feedback
- Contribute to high-quality datasets spanning early undergraduate to PhD-level mathematics

- Experience teaching, tutoring, grading, or developing advanced problem sets
Engagement Details
- Independent Contractor Role (no medical/paid leave)
- Remote
- Commitment Options: 20, 30, or 40 hours per week
- Minimum requirement: 4 hours per day with 4-hour PST overlap
- Potential contract extension based on performance
