Investment Banking Analyst
One of our clients is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Modeling Analyst to contribute transaction and modeling expertise to a high-impact finance evaluation initiative. This role focuses on translating real-world deal workflows into structured, high-quality deliverables used to assess advanced financial systems.
Role Overview
In this position, you will apply hands-on transaction experience to build, review, and refine institutional-grade financial materials. You will work independently while maintaining high standards of analytical rigor, clarity, and professional presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate investment banking and M&A workflows into structured analytical outputs
- Build, review, and annotate financial models (including LBO, M&A, 3-statement, and valuation models)
- Develop and refine investor-grade materials such as investment committee memoranda and diligence summaries
- Evaluate financial analyses for accuracy, completeness, and logical consistency
- Structure finance-related datasets and documentation for analytical evaluation purposes
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure deliverables reflect real-world transaction standards
- Maintain precise, professional written communication across all outputs
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Development, or a related field
- Direct exposure to live deal execution, due diligence, and advanced financial modeling
- Strong proficiency in valuation methodologies (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, LBO modeling)
- Demonstrated ability to produce investor-ready financial work products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote, structured environment
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S., U.K., or Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in infrastructure, project finance, credit, distressed, or special situations transactions
- Exposure to finance-focused technology initiatives or analytical evaluation frameworks
- Experience collaborating across product, technical, or research teams
Work Details

- Flexible project-based contract
