Job Description
Linguistic Expert – Hebrew
Talent Bridge is seeking a Linguistic Expert – Hebrew on behalf of a leading AI research lab. This is a part-time, highly flexible, remote contract opportunity to contribute directly to improving AI systems by ensuring high-quality language coverage, accuracy, and cultural relevance for Hebrew as spoken in Israel. You will work closely with AI researchers and engineers to refine models’ understanding and generation of Hebrew, ensuring AI outputs are grammatically correct, contextually relevant, and culturally appropriate. This role blends specialized linguistic knowledge with hands-on evaluation and feedback, helping shape the next generation of language AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, evaluate, and meticulously annotate AI-generated text in Hebrew for accuracy, fluency, and cultural alignment.
- Provide expert human feedback on grammar, semantics, style, and tone.
- Develop guidelines and documentation to improve consistency across AI model outputs.
- Collaborate directly with researchers to identify language-specific challenges and edge cases within the language.
- Suggest structural improvements for training datasets and linguistic rules.
Requirements
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Hebrew (Native-level proficiency in Hebrew is strictly required).
- Linguistic Mastery: A strong, technical grasp of grammar, syntax, semantics, and stylistics, with the ability to identify and correct subtle linguistic and cultural nuances.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Literature, or a closely related field (an advanced degree is a strong plus).
- Experience: Prior experience in linguistic annotation, translation, or specialized content review is highly preferred.
- Bonus Skills: Familiarity with AI, NLP (Natural Language Processing), or modern language technologies is a bonus, but not required.
Contract and Payment Terms
- Status: Independent Contractor (1099 equivalent).
- Flexibility: Fully remote role, completable on your own schedule.
- Scope: Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project needs and performance.
- Privacy: Work involves no access to confidential or proprietary information.
- Payments: Disbursed weekly based on services rendered.
- Note: Unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time.
