Job Description

The Mission

We are inviting Founders and Early Operators to help us document and review data systems they’ve built or managed at mid-size startups (20–150 people). We want to analyze the architecture behind:

  • Core BI Layers: Dashboards, metrics, cohorts, and funnels.
  • Operational Reporting: 30+ key queries across Product, Ops, and Finance.
  • Stakeholder Logic: How data flows from schema to decision-maker.

Who This Is For

  • Experienced Founders: You have built or managed non-trivial internal systems in high-growth environments.
  • Startup Veterans: Prior experience in a high-growth startup environment (20–150 people) is required.
  • Domain Agnostic: We value architectural complexity over specific industry experience.
  • Availability: You can commit to a short-term, clearly scoped research engagement.

Engagement Details

  • Scope: Retrospective documentation and technical review of previously built systems.
  • Privacy: This is a private research effort. Full technical specs and compensation will be shared after an initial screening.

Contract and Payment Terms

  • You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
  • This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
  • Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
  • Your work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
  • Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
