Computer & Information Systems Manager at Talent Bridge

Our client, through Talent Bridge, is actively seeking an experienced Computer & Information Systems Manager to spearhead and manage technology strategy, infrastructure, and systems operations. This critical remote role operates in a dynamic, distributed environment, blending strategic leadership with direct oversight of IT governance, security, and system performance.

In this pivotal position, you will be instrumental in ensuring information systems align seamlessly with business objectives. A key focus will be strengthening the organization's cybersecurity posture and guaranteeing reliable, scalable technology operations. You will lead impactful cross-functional initiatives, proactively manage IT risks, and guide teams through complex system implementations and continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and oversee end-to-end IT infrastructure and information systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead and mentor IT teams, fostering accountability, driving innovation, and promoting operational excellence across all functions.
  • Establish and rigorously maintain cybersecurity best practices, ensuring paramount data integrity and strict regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and enforce robust IT governance frameworks, comprehensive policies, and proactive risk management processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to translate diverse operational needs into clear, actionable technical strategies and project plans.
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, ensuring unwavering adherence to quality standards.
  • Evaluate and strategically recommend emerging technologies, cutting-edge platforms, and suitable vendors to enhance capabilities.
  • Manage multiple complex projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery, effective resource allocation, and transparent communication.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and information systems in mid-to-large-scale, complex environments.
  • Strong, demonstrable knowledge of leading cybersecurity frameworks, IT governance principles, and critical compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, successfully guiding and empowering cross-functional or globally distributed teams.
  • Solid background in established project management methodologies and strategic IT planning.
  • Expertise in proactive risk management and comprehensive systems security.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and advanced problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of effective decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, ITIL, or equivalent industry-recognized credentials.
  • Direct experience managing globally distributed or entirely remote IT teams.
