Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to contribute expertise to innovative AI training initiatives. In this fully remote role, you will apply your hands-on clinical knowledge to help train and refine AI systems used in healthcare and rehabilitation contexts. This opportunity allows you to combine patient-centered care experience with emerging technology, ensuring AI tools accurately reflect real-world occupational therapy practices and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert insight into occupational therapy assistant practices for AI training and data refinement.
- Review, analyze, and annotate AI-generated therapy scenarios for clinical accuracy and best-practice alignment.
- Assist in modeling treatment workflows, adaptive strategies, and patient engagement approaches for AI systems.
- Contribute to the development of realistic home programs, activities of daily living (ADL) training scenarios, and adaptive equipment usage models.
- Document clinical processes clearly and accurately to support high-quality AI datasets.
- Evaluate AI outputs related to patient progress documentation and therapy planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve healthcare-focused AI tools.
- Ensure ethical standards, patient confidentiality considerations, and professional guidelines are reflected in training materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
- Demonstrated clinical experience supporting occupational therapists in rehabilitation or therapeutic settings.
- Strong understanding of treatment planning, ADLs, adaptive equipment, and patient progress documentation.
- Proficiency with relevant healthcare and therapy software, including:
