Job Overview

The role of C#.NET Software Engineer Trading Applications is based in New York City, NY, USA. This hybrid role requires at least 4 days onsite per week and offers visa sponsorship under specific treaty-based U.S. visas. You will join the Pricing Team to support Rates Cash and Derivatives Pricing initiatives by working closely with trading desks to develop and maintain real-time pricing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support real-time pricing and analytics tools for Fixed Income trading.
  • Serve as a key contact for front-office users such as traders, sales, and quants.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Own software delivery, maintenance, and support across L1–L3 support tiers.
  • Collaborate with global teams to adapt and deploy tools.
  • Follow Agile methodologies and CI/CD best practices.

Qualifications

Required skills include a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related field and 5+ years of experience, preferably with a background in Front Office or financial services. Applicants need solid expertise in OOP in .NET/C#, design patterns, Dependency Injection, Entity Framework, SQL, and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell). Experience with Git and CI/CD in Agile settings is essential, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
