The Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be a key leader on our design team, driving Tala’s core business of providing flexible loans and empowering financial agency. You will build new products, solve complex user problems, and elevate product quality.

What You’ll Do

  • Create customer-centric experiences and user friendly features to support flexible lending.
  • Lead projects beyond the immediate roadmap with cross-functional teams.
  • Produce design assets such as user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications.
  • Manage a team of designers, promoting best practices and established design systems.
  • Coach team members to consistently deliver against business KPIs and customer needs.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Experience with Design Systems and a system-level approach to design.
  • Expertise in usability research, requirement gathering, and translating insights into design.
  • Fluency in Figma (other tools are a bonus).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing design thinking, aesthetics, processes, and deliverables.
