Summary
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented SELRES Analyst to support data-driven operations and analysis for Reserve personnel programs. The SELRES Analyst will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining SQL-based databases, generating reports, and ensuring data integrity and security in accordance with organizational and DoD standards. This role requires intermediate-level SQL proficiency, experience in database development or administration, and a strong understanding of cybersecurity practices.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and execute SQL queries to extract, analyze, and report on SELRES-related data.
- Maintain and manage databases to ensure accurate and efficient data processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable data insights.
- Troubleshoot database issues and ensure data quality, consistency, and security.
- Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity and data handling protocols.
- Support the development of dashboards, data visualizations, and performance metrics reports.
- Assist with data validation, migration, and system integration efforts as needed.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with database security protocols and access control.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Intermediate-level MCSA SQL certification (Database Development or Administration) or equivalent SQL training certification.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in SQL programming or database development/administration.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification (required).
- Experience working for or supporting the National Guard Bureau and with Qualitative and Quantitative analysis.
- At a minimum, a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or an equivalent or higher investigation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting military or government personnel systems (e.g., SELRES, Reserve Component management).
- Familiarity with DoD IT systems and data protection standards.
Pay And Benefits
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $130,000 annually.
