About the Role

As a Software Engineer, Early Career at Tako, you will actively develop our data-intensive products and contribute to a culture of technical excellence as one of our first 30 engineering team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance data-intensive products with asynchronous processes using TypeScript in a serverless AWS architecture
  • Build scalable microservices and high-performance APIs
  • Implement solutions ensuring quality, scalability, and consistency
  • Participate in technical discussions to improve system architecture
  • Work with agile methodologies and continuous delivery practices
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve high-impact results
  • Engage in code reviews and share technical knowledge

Qualifications

  • Understanding of software development best practices
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or eagerness to learn
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architecture
  • Knowledge in cloud computing, preferably AWS
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills, independence, and product focus
  • Quick learner with good communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, RDS, Step Functions, and API Gateway
  • Experience in CI/CD practices and infrastructure as code
  • API RESTful development experience
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases
