Job Description
We’re seeking a data-driven, experimentation-minded Product Manager - Growth. In this role, you will own onboarding and activation experiences across personal, enterprise trial, and self-serve users. You will design growth strategies that drive adoption and expansion of the product while working closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Marketing teams. Reporting directly to the Head of Product, you’ll build seamless in-product experiences, run A/B tests, and collaborate on lifecycle marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with UXR and Data to conduct research and create a growth roadmap.
- Design and run in-product experiments to optimize conversion and activation.
- Create educational experiences to help users discover underutilized features.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Tailscale’s product and customer segments.
- Collaborate with fellow product managers for coordinated experiment designs.
- Define and track success metrics balancing business impact with user experience.
What We Are Looking For
This role is ideal for a senior PM with 7+ years experience, especially in growth, onboarding, or activation in a product-led SaaS environment. A strong technical background, understanding of developer tools or cloud infrastructure, and hands-on experience with A/B testing and data analytics (SQL, Looker, Snowflake) are essential. Excellent communication skills and a knack for translating user insights into effective product strategies are a must.
