Job Description

The Manager, Solutions Engineering - Enterprise plays a key role in leading a team through the full customer journey from pre-sales to post-sales. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing Tailscale deployments to meet customer business objectives. You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Support teams to enhance customer experience, refine sales materials, and identify product improvements.

  • Manage and grow a small high-performing team.
  • Drive successful customer evaluations and rollouts.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to exceed revenue goals.
  • Guide feedback loops with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Stay current on cloud, networking, and security trends.

Requirements

Candidates should have 3+ years of management experience and 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role such as Solutions Engineer or Sales Engineer. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential. A strong understanding of networking, security, software development, cloud architecture and CI/CD is required.
