Job Overview
Join our rapidly growing Sales team at Tailscale as an Enterprise Account Executive. In this role, you will help large clients evaluate, purchase, and expand their use of Tailscale to meet their evolving networking, security, and compliance needs. You will collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Support, Marketing, and Product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a credible quarterly pipeline with a land-and-expand approach.
- Take full ownership of the sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
- Educate customers on Tailscale's value through evaluation and adoption.
- Manage a balanced book of new and existing accounts.
- Provide accurate weekly forecasting and revenue delivery.
- Create mutual action and success plans with prospects and clients.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of proven closing experience in sales.
- Experience selling developer and technical products in a PLG environment.
- Comfortable presenting to senior managers and executives.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities at various stages while meeting quota.
- Familiarity with tools like Gong for pipeline management and collaboration.
- Experience collaborating with Sales Engineering during sales cycles.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a competitive, full-time role with a base salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits package. Salary target range for new hires is $250,000 to $300,000 USD.
