Job Overview

Join our rapidly growing Sales team as a Customer Account Executive. In this role, you will help expand and renew customer accounts by identifying new use cases, educating clients on feature releases, and ensuring successful product adoption. You will work closely with the Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Support, Marketing, and Product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in how Tailscale helps customers.
  • Build a credible quarterly pipeline focusing on upsells and renewals.
  • Own upsell and renewal targets across accounts.
  • Educate customers during evaluation and adoption cycles.
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasting and revenue delivery.
  • Create mutual action/success plans with prospects and existing customers.

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of closing experience in an AE or AM role.
  • Strong desire to join a high-growth, fully remote software startup.
  • Experience selling developer/technical products, ideally in PLG motions.
  • Proven ability to present to senior managers and executives.
  • Capability to manage multiple opportunities across various stages.
  • Experience with tools like Gong and collaboration with Sales Engineering.
