About the Role

The Data Analytics and Insights Specialist at TAFE NSW is responsible for providing expert analysis of demographic trends and changing skills requirements. Internally known as Demographic and Skills Profile Analyst, this role supports high-quality strategic advice on future workforce trends and skill needs to inform TAFE NSW’s training delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced data modelling using Microsoft Excel.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and utilize data visualisation tools like Power BI.
  • Integrate and analyse data from multiple sources for strategic insights.
  • Support decision making with meaningful, data-driven recommendations.

About You

You are a highly skilled data analyst experienced in research and data analysis. You excel at creating advanced data models and visual outputs, and you work well both independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
