T-Systems Iberia is seeking a motivated Test Automation Engineer to join our IoT Hub team. This role is ideal for experienced automation engineers or manual QA engineers with basic programming skills looking to specialize in test automation. You will play a key role in maintaining and developing automated tests, improving our testing framework, and ensuring the quality of our software products.Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance existing UI and API automated tests.
- Develop new automated test scripts to expand test coverage.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our test automation framework and CI/CD pipeline.
- Perform manual testing for UI and API as needed.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of released products throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of software testing theory, methodologies, and test design techniques.
- Proven experience in backend and UI testing.
- Experience with API testing tools.
- Basic proficiency in Java.
- Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- English language proficiency at B2 level.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and experience integrating automated tests into pipelines is a strong plus.
